CAPT believes that employers, institutions, and students benefit from quality educational programs that lead to successful careers. With this in mind, CAPT decided to highlight program graduates who have been hired by and are productive contributors to industry partners.
Thus, CAPT requested that each institutional partner nominate a recent graduate to be included in the Student Success Stories publication. Students, professors, and industry supervisors were then interviewed to provide diverse viewpoints on the reasons for a particular graduate's success. Twenty students and 5 interns, representing 21 colleges, 17 employers, and 8 states are profiled in this publication.
In addition, the publication includes profiles of the 2002 summer technician interns recruited by CAPT and employed by BP Exploration and Production, Inc. on various processing facilities.
