CAPT Curriculum
The Center for the Advancement of Process Technology (CAPT) encourages institutions that offer a two-year degree in process technology to include an eight course technical core as part of the degree. Furthermore, for those who offer an exit option in oil and gas production, institutions are encouraged to add two specialty courses to the degree. CAPT and its partnering alliances have created a variety of instructional products to meet the need of the process industries and the core classes associated with a degree in process technology.

Six supplementary student materials designed to accompany each of the classroom-based instructor manuals.
Glossary of Terms
A collection of process industry-specific terms and definitions developed by the Gulf Coast Process Technology Alliance (GCPTA).
Science and Math Laboratory Exercises
Fifteen science and math exercises designed to enrich classroom instruction and facilitate student learning and retention.

Facilitator Guides
Six facilitator manuals designed to supplement the web-based courses and enhance student interactivity.
Web-based Courses
Six interactive, web-based instructional modules that provide self-paced instruction and address the core process technology curriculum.

STATE Learning Modules
Thirty-five (35) interactive, web-based instructional modules addressing the History and Background of the Petrochemical Industry, Unit Operations, Process Safety, and Systematic Preventative Maintenance / Quality for theTechnician Operator.
