Scholarship application and required documentation are due by February 29, 2012.

Application Process

Read Carefully and Follow the Instructions

To be considered for a scholarship award, your application must be received by the deadline and accompanied by the following attachments. Your application will not be considered unless all required documentation is included with the application.

ATTACHMENTS:

  1. Official high school transcript or a copy of G.E.D. certificate.
  2. Official college or technical training transcripts or copy of an official transcript through the most current semester completed. Please allow sufficient time before the scholarship application deadline for the transcript(s) to be processed.
  3. Completed degree plan signed by your College Counselor or Advisor (for students currently enrolled in college).
  4. Three letters of recommendation. Letters from employers or instructors must be on letterhead. Letters should include phone number of sender and reflect evidence of good interpersonal and team skills. Mailing of reference letters separate from your application may delay consideration of your application.

Your application will not be considered unless all required documentation is included with the application.

Notification Process

  1. Upon receiving a completed application packet with ALL required documentation/attachments, the application will be screened.
  2. Top candidates will be scheduled for interviews via telephone.
  3. Notification of awards will be made by the end of June.
  4. Scholarship checks will be sent directly to the college listed on the recipient’s application and distributed by the scholarship office located at that college.
