2010 Faculty Summer Institute

Red Rocks Community College - August 2-6, 2010

The Center for the Advancement of Process Technology is pleased to announce that CAPT and Red Rocks Community College will be sponsoring a Faculty Summer Institute in Colorado. The institute will be held August 2 - 6, 2010. The institute is intended to provide secondary and post-secondary faculty the opportunity to gain or enhance their knowledge of various process industries. This program will help strengthen the real world experience and knowledge that educators are able to deliver to students in their classrooms and programs.

What costs are covered?
CAPT will cover the cost of travel, lodging and meals (breakfast and lunch only). The only cost to participants will be evening meals and any personal items.
What are the eligibility requirements?
  1. Educator must be a faculty member at a CAPT partner institution.
  2. Educator must be teaching a Process Technology course.
  3. Educator must be willing to implement techniques learned into their classroom.
What is the process for applying?
Submit the Application online by June 14, 2010.
What is the deadline?
The application must be submitted no later than June 14, 2010.
When will attendees be notified?
Institute attendees will be notified no later than June 21, 2010.
What is the reimbursement process?
  1. Book all travel arrangements in your name (save your receipts).
  2. Attend the Institute.
  3. Fill out the required reimbursement paperwork.
  4. Reimbursement check will be mailed to you.
